*The Mini-Cabin mentioned above is now classified as a "one story detached accessory structure," with an interior floor area under 200 square feet (these are 196), thus they are exempt from requiring a building permit. County code says that using one of these cabins for "habitation" would require alterations by permit. The outside dimensions of each cabin are 12' x 18' and outside dimensions of the roof overhang are 18'3" x 18'4". Each mini-cabin is on pressure-treated skids and can be moved wherever you choose. They are built with insulated walls, doors, windows, and roof. They are wired with receptacles and interior and exterior lights.
